Despite the gloomy lack of predictions from our internet provider, service was restored as I was posting the previous blog entry from a coffeeshop. We still don't have phone service, but that's because it needs to plug into both the phone jack and the electrical outlet in my bedroom (where we still have no electricity) for it to work. So if you call the landline, it'll ring and ring and ring instead of giving you a busy signal. But we're getting closer ...
