The official name of this workshop is "Train the Trainers," since it's intended to teach us how to teach people to make digital stories. And most of us made our own stories in the mix, too ... I'll post mine once it's truly finished. So here are some of the people who are in the workshop:

Sabrina, an art therapist, and Daniel, our superb leader, teacher, morale builder, and chef (see below).

Elaine, who is writing a dissertaion on digital storytelling and "emotional geography" and came all the way from New Zealand for the workshop!

Joe, the guy who literally wrote the book on digital storytelling for CDS (that would be the Center for Digital Storytelling -- see the link of the day). And John, who runs Stonebridge with his wide Kayann (who is a digital storyteller, too).

Kayann, who lives on and runs the farm with her husband, John (the John cooking bratwurst in the previous photo). She also teaches literature and women's studies at U of Colorado.

Ryan, who works for a cancer research institute and is going to use digital storytelling in public health.

Daniel cooking Stonebridge mushrooms for us.

Coyote Joe, a friend of Kayann's who entertained us last night. We were supposed to be gathered around a campfire, but the wind was too strong.

The group: everyone you've already seen on this page, plus most of the rest of us.

And the goat again ... not sure why I'm so drawn to him/her, but I am.
It's getting chillier and the fire's almost out, so I'm off to the tent and sleeping bag. The workshop ends at noon tomorrow, so I'm planning to explore Estes Park and/or Rocky Mountain National Park in the afternoon. I realize that almost everytime I write something like "I'll post more photos tomorrow," I don't actually post more photos the next day. So I won't write it, even though I'm thinking it.
