I have made it to Finland and had a wonderful first night. Mika, Sari and Brenda met me at the airport, showed me a little bit of Finland, and introduced me to Karhu (a Finnish beer). Then we came to their apartment in Vantaa (right next to Helsinki) for a great dinner and sauna. We stayed up talking until 2 am and all slept in this morning. Today, Mika and Sari are bringing me to Helsinki for sight-seeing. I haven't downloaded any pictures from my camera yet, but there will be many tonight. I will post more of the Cambridge pictures along the way, but it isn't a priority right now: there are so many to take and then share with you from here! Oh, and I'm two hours later now than I was in London ... just after 10 am here is just after 3 am for most of you.
