Helpful Signs

Thursday 07/19/2007 7:29 PM (In the United Kingdom: Friday 07/20/2007 12:29 AM)

One more round of photos before I go to bed.  I've become somewhat fascinated by street signs here, so I started snapping pictures of them as I was wandering around this evening:

Extremely helpful. Think they're used to tourists?

Slightly insulting. I mean, I think we would get it after a couple of repetitions -- five is entirely unnecessary.  I especially like that they end with a sixth "British" ... just in case we lost track along the way.

Wow. I was brainstorming definitions for "busking" all the way from the Tube station back to the hotel, and let me tell you, the images in my head were unsettling at best.  I just looked it up on Wikipedia, though, and if you're curious, you can follow the link below.

My favorite. If I wasn't so afraid of going to jail in a foreign country, I'd steal this sign.
